During her residency at Scuola Piccola Zattere, Gaëlle Choisne led a workshop inspired by Soul House, a small ritual terracotta sculpture from the Louvre’s Egyptian collections, reinterpreted as a symbol of inner space and spiritual connection. Through a theoretical introduction and a shared practical session, participants created their own ceramic “Temple of Love”, conceived as a symbolic offering dedicated to victims of war and violence. The workshop offered a collective experience of emotional expression, energetic healing, and engagement with the material. The results were incorporated into the artist’s exhibition project, which opened at Scuola Piccola Zattere on 8 May 2025.
