Between May and October 2025, Scuola Piccola Zattere presented Temple of Love. Cœur by Gaëlle Choisne, the final exhibition of her residency, curated by Irene Calderoni and Eva Vaslamatzi. Inspired by Roland Barthes’ A Lover’s Discourse: Fragments, the project transforms the exhibition space into an ecosystem linked to the chakras and to the connection between the body, spirituality, and the domestic sphere. Through installations and Haitian paintings from the Jean-Marie Drot collection, Choisne weaves together memory, mysticism, and affective relationships in a poetic dialogue on coexistence.
