CHIROPTERA: PRATICHE DELL'OPACO
MARTINA CAMANI
Arena | 15.00-16.30
Chiroptera: Practices of Opacity is a performative workshop dedicated to bat species that interact with pond ecosystems. Part of a broader research project on the multispecies ecologies of small wetlands, the workshop combines data from the natural sciences, somatic practices, and collective improvisation. Through embodied exercises and processes of co-creation, participants will be invited to question the narratives that shape our relationships with animals other than humans.

MARTINA CAMANI
Martina Camani (Italy, 1994) is an artist and PhD candidate at the Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti in Turin. Her research unfolds between artistic practice and theoretical inquiry, with a particular focus on interspecies performance, queer ecologies, and post-natural thought. Her current work explores desire as a relational force through more-than-human perspectives and an expanded conception of language. Collaboration and collective formats are central to her practice, which takes multidisciplinary forms ranging from installation and performance to costume design. She is co-founder of Falive – improvvisazioni somatiche ed elettroacustiche (2024–ongoing).
