As part of Aliaskar Abarkas’s residency and commission for the exhibition R.S.V.P. Résonnez, S’il Vous Plaît, Scuola Piccola Zattere hosted a conversation dedicated to the relationship between pedagogy, choreography, and artistic research. Starting from the artist’s practice and the experimental model of the Rose Choreographic School, the event explored embodied knowledge, collective processes, and educational practices as tools for learning, transmission, and experimentation. Through a dialogue with Martin Hargreaves and Silvia Bottiroli, the seminar examined the potential of choreography and pedagogy as forms of situated research, reflecting on the role of cultural institutions in building learning communities and creating new spaces for knowledge production.
