Andrea Canepa was the first artist-in-residence at Scuola Piccola Zattere and was invited to create an installation for the "Ridotto": an educational and informal gathering space at the entrance of the institution.

Conceived as an experiential environment, the work encourages bodily perception and interaction within the space. Its first phase was presented during the institution’s opening and brought to life through the performance Le Forze d’Ercole during the Open Days on 22 and 23 November 2024.

The performance draws inspiration from an ancient Venetian tradition in which participants were required to maintain balance while paying close attention to the movements of others, responding and adapting to their actions.
