On the occasion of the opening on 19 November, Pasodoble will be restaged with three new performers selected for the occasion, Caterina Benevoli, Marco Fichera and Marta Magini.

Created in 2004 within Kinkaleri, the work confronts a body with the attempt to reproduce itself. A brief improvisation is recorded on video and then studied and memorised by the person who performed it. A pas de deux with one’s own image gradually takes shape, unfolding through repetitions, deviations and lapses of memory. The audience is invited to share in the learning process, observing movement transform into choreographic composition.

Further performances of Pasodoble will take place on 21 and 22 November, during the exhibition’s opening weekend.
