Daniele Morelli is an Italian guitarist and composer, born in Tuscany in 1984. He began studying classical piano at the age of 7, then moved on to guitar and jazz studies in Ponsacco, Siena, Lyon, and Brussels. Starting from blues roots, he later embraced world music with the Atmaniam Orchestra, exploring African, Turkish, and Indian sounds. In 2004, he founded the progressive rock project Milvus, active between Italy and the Netherlands. After experiences in France and Belgium with jazz and theater projects, he created the Morelli Electric Quartet. In recent years, he has been living between Mexico City and Oaxaca, leading projects such as Standard Trio, Dada Beat Orchestra, Grupo Tsikuaki, and Ya Maa Diali. He has released seven albums, including Mision Azul, La valigia dei sogni, Ars Musica, and four new works in 2024 with the OFF Record label. He also collaborated on the upcoming album by Mexican singer Lila Downs, and has performed at festivals and clubs across Europe and Latin America.
