Workshop for families

Andrea Canepa

25/01/2025, 04.00 PM — 06.00 PM

Workshop

In this workshop, the resident artist Andrea Canepa will guide us in creating a personal language. Inspired by notation systems developed for dance, we will explore the movement of the body as a tool to design new alphabets, pictograms, and scores. Through a creative adaptation of these systems, we will experiment with new forms of writing and relate them to unexpected materials, approaching language in an innovative way.

Andrea Canepa's work is based on rethinking the systems that give meaning to our world, reinterpreting them to create new modes of expression. This approach will invite us to discover and reinvent communication codes that arise from the interaction between body, gesture, and sign.

The workshop is free and recommended for children aged 6 and up. It will take place in the installation designed by the artist for the Ridotto, the area of the institution dedicated to younger audiences.
